I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. But if I'm being honest, I never thought making a career out of art was in the cards for me. I couldn't afford art school, and I was determined to move out of my parents' house at 18. So, like many creatives, I entered the workforce and followed the path that seemed practical. Yet the longer I worked in corporate America, the more disconnected I felt from myself. Painting was the one thing that made me feel alive. I painted before work, after work, on weekends, and even during my lunch breaks. Creating wasn't just something I enjoyed—it was the place where I felt most connected to who I truly was. Then, in 2020, I was laid off from my job. What could have been one of the worst things to happen to me became the moment that changed my life forever. I made a commitment to myself: I was going to give my dream a real chance.

I started where I could. Selling artwork on the beach boardwalk. Setting up at farmers markets. Teaching classes in local parks. Saying yes to opportunities before I felt ready. Learning business, marketing, sales, and entrepreneurship as I went. Piece by piece, what began as a passion became a profession. Today, I am proud to partner with incredible brands, create artwork for collectors around the world, and have built a creative ecosystem that includes Medina Art Studios, Medina Art Foundation, and Medina Art Institute. Most importantly, I'm proud to help other creatives build businesses around what they love. Because I know what it feels like to believe your dream is too unrealistic, too risky, or too far out of reach. And I know what becomes possible when you decide to bet on yourself anyway.

My mission is to help artists and creatives build their businesses with purpose, authenticity, and impact—so they can create meaningful work, support themselves through their craft, and leave a legacy that extends far beyond the art they make.
