Dedicated studio space for artists building their practice inside the Haus.
The Medina Residency
Our Resident Artist Program offers dedicated studio space within Medina Art Studios for artists looking to deepen their practice while working in close proximity to a creative community.
Residents become part of the daily life of the Haus, with access to shared spaces, member gatherings, exhibitions, workshops, and opportunities to connect their work with a wider audience. More than a place to make, the residency is designed to support consistency, experimentation, and meaningful creative exchange.
Private and shared studios become available seasonally and are offered through an application-based process. The best way to be considered for an upcoming opening is to submit an application and join the residency waitlist; applicants will be notified as spaces become available.
Meet Our Artists,

Deanna Imfeld
Deanna Imfeld is a multimedia artist whose work explores the relationship between human identity, nature, and personal autonomy. Working primarily in acrylic painting and influenced by Romanticism, she dissolves boundaries between figure and landscape, revealing identities that feel both rooted and untethered.

Logan Brantley
“In contrast my acrylic and collage based works seem to reject the very idea of being contained as something palatable. They seem to scream a shadowed variety of powerfully embodied emotions, exclaiming, ‘Look at me! Feel me! I am angry! I am powerful! I am playful!’ I often find myself smirking at the visuals I allow myself to pour into and onto the canvas. It is in my fluid mediums that I live, and in my mixed media that I heal.”

Sarah Chase Designs
Sarah Chase is a digital product strategist and designer working at the intersection of beauty, luxury ecommerce, and emerging technology. She builds thoughtful digital experiences and the systems that support them. Finnigen Rynehart
Finnigen Rynehart is an oil painter, musician, and engineer, though painting is where he is most honest.
His work is rooted in feeling more than explanation—built from memory, instinct, and moments that are difficult to put into words. Drawing from Baroque intensity, surrealism, and the natural world, his paintings exist somewhere between reality and something more internal. They are not meant to explain, but to be felt.
Recurring symbols move through his work—tigers as protectors, faceless figures as a sense of being lost, birds as chaos, and oranges as something small but sacred to hold onto. These elements are less about narrative and more about emotional truth.
A key part of his process is synesthesia, where sound, emotion, and thought take on color. This shapes the way he paints—color isn’t chosen, it’s experienced.
At its core, his work is an attempt to hold onto something fleeting—to take a feeling and make it visible. Not to define it, but to share it.

Christine Clark
Perspective Art Studio
I’m Christine, the lead artist and founder of Perspective Art Studio, based in San Diego. My work is rooted in creating one of a kind, live illustrations that transform wedding guests into elevated, fashion inspired pieces of art, blending the energy of the moment with the elegance of fine art.
I strive to create artwork that feels expressive and deeply personal, capturing not just how someone looks, but how they felt in that moment. Each piece is designed to be a keepsake guests are excited to take home, something that lives far beyond the event itself. What began as a passion nearly two decades ago has evolved into a full time career centered around live events, creativity, and human connection.
With over 20 years of painting experience and the past 3 years dedicated to live events, I’ve had the privilege of capturing thousands of guests in real time. Through watercolor and marker, I focus on accurately representing skin tones, features, and personal style, while adding an editorial, elevated touch.
It’s incredibly important to me that guests leave with something they truly want to keep. As more events move away from mass produced favors and toward intentional gifting, my work creates pieces that feel personal, meaningful, and lasting.
At the core of my work is the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful, creating an experience where guests feel special, included, and truly part of the art.

Keith Van Der Walde
British-American artist Keith van der Walde is a California-based painter specializing in patterned mark-making. Leveraging his training in the engineering sciences, Keith invokes analytical frameworks and iterative empirical methodologies in the creation of his works. Celebrating and building upon the work of Keith Haring, and drawing inspiration from such luminaries as Jean Dubuffet, Joan Miro, and Yayoi Kusama, Keith combines the familiar with the new as he sets forth his own aesthetic language.

Evelyn Pineda - Mendez
Evelyn P Atelier
Evelyn is a self-taught abstract artist born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, CA, now based in San Diego. Her work functions as a bridge between inner emotional landscapes and the external world, translating experience into a visceral visual language. Working across several mediums: oils, acrylics, pastels, and watercolor, Evelyn approaches painting as a necessity rather than a practice—an intuitive act driven by the urgency to capture singular, authentic emotion. Dynamic movement, layered textures, and an intentional embrace of imperfection define her large-scale canvases.
Through bold color fields and fluid transitions, her work invites quiet introspection and personal reflection. Each piece offers a space where the viewer may recognize their own emotional terrain within the nuance of the paint.

Giuliana Leone
Studio Giugiu
Giuliana Leone is a San Diego-based fine line doodlist creating intricate artwork inspired by the emotions that shape our lives. Every piece begins with a feeling—whether rooted in joy, grief, curiosity, or healing—then flows through the meditative process of doodling, becoming a visual reflection of that experience. Her work invites viewers to slow down, explore the details, and find moments of connection, peace, and wonder within each piece.

Asantae Haanstad
Asantae Photography
I’m Asantae, the photographer behind Asantae Photography. Based in San Diego and working throughout Southern California and beyond, I specialize in weddings, portraits, and branding with an approach that blends editorial imagery with genuine, documentary moments. My love for photography began in high school and has since grown into a full-time career spanning more than six years. My work is centered around creating imagery that feels intentional, elevated, and personal, whether I’m documenting a wedding weekend, photographing a portrait session, or helping a brand bring its vision to life. I work across both digital and 35mm film, drawing inspiration from movement, thoughtful details, connection, and the individuality of the people I photograph. I’m especially drawn to imagery that feels polished without losing the character and emotion of the moment. At 25, I’m proud to run a queer-owned business where all people and stories are welcomed and celebrated. Creating an inclusive, comfortable experience is just as important to me as the photographs themselves. Currently creating out of this shared studio space in Pacific Beach, I’m always excited to connect with new clients, brands, and fellow creatives.

Natalie Borton
Late August Studio
I’m Natalie, a photographer, fine artist and the owner and founder of Late August Photo, established in 2023 as an extension of a lifelong passion for photography and visual storytelling. I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, always drawn to the beauty found in the natural world and the fleeting moments that make a place or experience feel unforgettable. Rooted in my Kansas upbringing, my work is inspired by dreamy destinations, changing light, organic textures and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Through photography, I capture the people, places and moments that move me, from brands and editorial campaigns to couples, weddings and meaningful celebrations. My fine art practice grows from this same perspective, transforming the landscapes, details and fleeting beauty I encounter into dreamlike photographic works and prints that evoke nostalgia, emotion and a sense of wonder. Across both my commissioned and fine art work, I’m drawn to imagery that feels timeless, artful and deeply connected to the beauty of the world around us.
